How the cup is played

The road to the final

Each match lasts 20 minutes per match.

Step 1

16 teams in 4 groups of 4. Every team is guaranteed 2 matches.

Step 2

The top 4 teams across the league stage earn a semi-final spot.

Step 3

4 teams, 2 matches, 2 places in the grand final.

Step 4

The last two standing play for the Gurugram Ballers Cup.

This is an Under-17 tournament — all players must be under 17 years of age.

The tournament is played 7-a-side (7 players per team on the pitch).

16 teams are drawn into 4 groups of 4 for the league stage.

Every team is guaranteed 2 league matches.

Each match lasts 20 minutes in total.

The top 4 teams from the league stage qualify for the semi-finals.

Semi-finals and the final are knockout — if level at full time, the match goes straight to a penalty shootout.

All players must carry valid photo ID and meet the tournament's eligibility criteria.
